Whatever the ethic background of your church attenders and staff, you want to understand and develop diversity—especially in your family ministry. James Logan has a rich background in business, as a pastor, and as an educator about this topic.

The African American Family and the Black Church will be referenced throughout our conversation. They will show the need to build family ministries that are relevant, sustainable and diverse. Diversity includes economic, social, racial and structural issues.

Family Ministry has three building blocks—biblical, practical and flexible. It also must address issues of single parenting, domestic violence, counseling, relationships, mental health, finances and communication. We will also reference ministering to families since the global pandemic.
