It’s critical to remember that the cycle of requesting and/or receiving a charitable gift is not complete until the expectation and intent of givers have been met.

Creating a realistic expectation of what will be accomplished with a charitable gift and then fulling giver expectations in a timely manner is key to stewarding the gifts God has provided to support our churches and ministries. If a giver is surprised by the use of a gift, that is a major indicator that the communication with the giver concerning the giving opportunity may be unclear.

This short video with Michael Martin, ECFA President, will focus on honoring giver expectations and intent between your church or ministry and potential givers.
