From Actual Costs to Best Models

What practical insights and trends could research on 3,000 church planters and campus pastors offer? Learn as findings from ECFA’s historic and groundbreaking research are unveiled along five themes: 1) Funding: What does it cost to launch a new church or campus?  2) Ethnicity: What are the positive impacts of multi-ethnicity in new churches? 3) Covid: Did the pandemic change the future of church plants or multisite campuses? 4) Multiplication/Replication: What are the best predictors of a church’s ability to multiply itself?  5) Models: How do church planting and multisite campus launches differ?

Joining David Fletcher is Warren Bird, Ph.D., senior vice president of research at ECFA, the co-author of 34 books for ministry leaders including books on church planting, Viral Churches: When Church Planters Become Movement Makers and on multisite churches, Multisite Church Road Trip.
