Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, is looking for an Executive Pastor. Executive Pastor Position
The Executive Pastor provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the church by managing Human Resources, Finance, Facilities, and Adult Discipleship Ministries while partnering closely with the Senior Pastor to advance the church’s vision. This role coordinates and supports pastoral and ministry staff, ensures effective administrative, financial, and facility operations, and maintains strong accountability systems across the organization. The Executive Pastor oversees budgeting, financial stewardship, policies, technology, campus use, and major projects, while also leading adult group life and discipleship initiatives focused on equipping leaders, launching groups, and developing mature followers of Christ. Through collaborative leadership and hands-on ministry involvement, the Executive Pastor helps align people, resources, and ministries to fulfill the mission of the church.
