Vision New England is ready to welcome a Chief Operating and Financial Officer to their team. Dedicated to following Christ and serving the church, this leader will be central in the future success of this growing organization!

The Organization

Vision New England was founded by Alpine McLean and A. J. Gordon in 1887 as the Evangelistic Association of New England, and while the methods have evolved with the changes within New England, evangelism is still why Vision New England exists. Based in Stratham, New Hampshire, the staff are de-centralized and spread out across the six-state region of New England (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). Vision New England exists to “accelerate evangelism” by developing and leveraging their network of ministries who are passionate to help the Church work in unity as they make disciples, do justice and share Jesus. There are presently four full-time and two part-time staff members. The annual operating budget is just under $800,000.

The Candidate

The ideal Chief Operating and Financial Officer (COFO) for Vision New England is a mission-driven leader with exceptional financial and operational expertise, a heart for ministry, and a passion for accelerating the gospel in New England. This individual will possess a deep commitment to Christian faith, modeling integrity, spiritual maturity, and servant leadership. The incoming COFO will bring a strong background in financial stewardship, strategic planning, and organizational leadership, ensuring Vision New England’s sustainability and effectiveness. The COFO must be highly relational, capable of fostering unity across diverse theological backgrounds, and skilled at managing a decentralized team. Being a proactive problem solver, able to anticipate challenges and implement innovative solutions while maintaining a high standard of excellence is key to success in this role. As a key partner to Vision New England’s president, Charles Galda, this leader must have the ability to translate vision into operational success, effectively balancing strategic execution with hands-on leadership. Additionally, this person will be adept at developing and mentoring staff, cultivating a culture of collaboration and excellence. Above all, the COFO will embrace the unique opportunities and challenges of ministry in New England, leveraging expertise to support church leaders, strengthen networks, and contribute to the ongoing spiritual renewal in the region.
