Why do some churches go from 50 to 500 to 5,000 and beyond, while others seem to cap out at a certain point? What kind of church leader does it take to break barrier after barrier in attendance and in decisions to follow Jesus?

Join Carl George, Warren Bird and David Fletcher for an insightful discussion about how you can identify where your leadership is stuck, and how to break through to new levels. Carl George has probably trained more large-church pastors than any other American consultant. He was the leading theorist and speaker behind the conference series that helped tens of thousands of pastors break the 200, 400, 800, and 2,000 attendance barriers. He and award-winning author Warren Bird pulled those insights together into several books including the expanded and updated version of How to Break Growth Barriers. They’ll field your questions about the book, and they’ll also go beyond it in assessing how and why an increasing number of churches are breaking attendance barriers of 5,000 and even 50,000 and more.

Carl F. George, one of North America’s premier church growth consultants, has trained pastors, staff, and top executives from more than one hundred denominations. He is former director of the Charles E. Fuller Institute of Evangelism and Church Growth and former president of the American Society for Church Growth. His other books include Nine Keys to Effective Small Group Leadership. He and his wife, Grace, live near Greenville, South Carolina.
