2017 National Church Compensation Survey

Our friends at Christianity Today just announced the 2017 National Church Compensation Survey. This survey enables CT to form the Compensation Handbook for Church Staff resource, which XPastor highlights on a regular basis. Participate in the confidential and anonymous survey and receive your gift from CT.

Here is more information from Christianity Today about the survey:

  • Great data is the cornerstone of good salaries and benefits. When you participate in the National Church Compensation Survey, conducted by the Church Law & Tax team of Christianity Today, you help yourself and churches throughout America set fair compensation for pastors and staff.
  • Your responses are confidential and will remain anonymous. The data you share will be used in combination with other responses to create the 2018 Compensation Handbook for Church Staff. The number of positions you report will determine the length of the survey. The term “your church” refers to the church for which you are reporting, whether or not this is the church where you worship.
  • As our thank you for your time investment, you will be invited to select one of three free gifts: “20 Finance Questions Churches Ask” eBook, a 6-month subscription to Christianity Today, or the Bible study “Stewardship: Living a Life that Counts,” upon completion of the survey. At the conclusion of the survey, you’ll be provided directions on how to receive this gift.

Thanks to our friend, Matt Branaugh, editor of the Church Law & Tax Team for letting the XPastor community know of this special arrangement.
