Sermons for the Overfed

DRF—Spiritual overeating is when the amount of teaching consumed is larger than what is put into practice.

Charlie Christian attends church every week and is in a home study. He also listens to two different sermon podcasts during the week on his commute to work. Adding all that together, Charlie is hearing over 200 messages a year.

Our friend Charlie is getting great teaching and input. However, he is so focussed on getting more information that he is not putting much of anything into practice. Many weeks he can barely remember what any of the messages said, let alone consider how to apply them.
