Hey Fletch … I’m a new XP and would love to listen to past sessions of the XP-Seminar. Do you record them?
DRF—One year we purchased some thumb drives that had terrific audio recorders built in. The workshops were recorded but not many people listened to them. Why? The reason is found in the nature of the workshops. We highlight small group interaction and discussion with the speaker. The content is vital but the XPs highly value the face-to-face interaction.
We have never recorded the main sessions. Why? We like to give our speakers the ability to give unvarnished examples. Often, they will share things that are semi-confidential and not available for publication. There have been many touching and endearing stories that are recounted. It’s like the President doing an off-camera interview.
