Hey Fletch … I have a guy who has asked about HR functions and their integration with software like Church Community Builder. Do you know of processes for reviews, strategic plans, job descriptions or other HR functions built into CCB?
DRF—Generally church databases have limited resources for HR functions. The role of the church database focuses on other areas. My experience is that “all in one packages” are like the old adage—“Jack of all trades, master of none.”
I’m not an expert in Church Community Builder, but let’s see what Shannon Neely, Sales Team Lead, at CCB has to say.
Shannon—We do have processes that are hidden that can be used for some HR purposes. They are processes that move people through various steps, so you can use them in this function. And you can add notes to the process that remain hidden. So it would work for this kind of purpose, but there are not built in job descriptions and such. These would have to be added to the process or to the HR group in the software.
