The church is looking for someone who would bring their financial, planning, and accounting skills in order to manage the budgeting, fiscal planning and accounting systems.
In addition to these skills, the right person will have strong planning and communication abilities, be a forward-thinker, and have a degree in business or appropriate business experience.

Job Description/Duties
Lead the Church in planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive plan of business operation for the Church.
Manage the budgeting, fiscal planning and accounting systems of the Church.
Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget.
Maintain the financial records system of the Church and direct its operation. Supervise financial staff.
Direct the receipt and expenditure of all Church funds.
Act as purchasing agent for the Church.
Direct the operation of the Church office, including supervision of supervisor of Bookkeeping/Accounting.
Oversee investments, cash management, and long-term financing, coordinating bank and other advisory relationships
Work with Senior Pastor to direct stewardship development efforts
Oversee human resource planning, hiring process, and compliance with labor law
Coordinate activities of and provide leadership to committees and other ministry organizations.
Serves as safety and security officer of the Church.
Coordinates transportation requirements for all program activities.
Recommends major repair or replacement of equipment.
Serve as the church liaison in meetings with outside organizations.
Work with Church staff to assign facility space and equipment to meet routine and special needs.
Maintain an inventory of all Church property. Annually verify presence and condition and establish a schedule for replacement, upgrade or addition.
Position reports to the Sr. Executive Pastor
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr. Executive Pastor.
Requirepments/Qualifications
Strong planning skills and financial emphasis.
Leadership abilities with demonstrated oral and written communication capability. Must interface with all levels of Church membership and staff.
Not just a finance person, but someone who’s a critical thinker, strategic and forward-thinking
Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or appropriate business experience required. Additional administrative credentials a plus (CPA, NACBA certification, etc.)
A minimum of 5 years’ previous ministry experience in a large church setting or major administrative work experience the business/non-profit world in a similar capacity
