Northshore Baptist Church
Northshore Baptist Church began in 1969 with 23 people at its first public meeting as a church plant of the Baptist General Conference. Now, some 37 years later, the church has grown to a congregation of more than 2,200 on its original campus in Bothell, WA. For the past 27 years Northshore Baptist has been led by Pastor Jan Hettinga.
During the past few years, Jan has had an increasingly urgent call to share the good news of the Kingdom of God beyond the boundaries of our local church. He has been given many opportunities to speak nationally and internationally, and has developed a passion for writing. As he approaches retirement age, he and the board have unanimously agreed upon a transition plan that will allow him more time to write and speak while ensuring an orderly transition of the senior pastorate.
We are now searching for the man God has callsed to be our next Senior Pastor.
