Opportunity
Mount Pisgah UMC, located in Alpharetta, Georgia is actively seeking a full time Minister of Advancement. The qualified candidate will create a culture of generous giving within the church congregation. This position is responsible for managing and administering the development and acquisition of the financial resources that are required to accomplish the mission of Mount Pisgah.
Other responsibilities are leading and facilitating the development of a comprehensive giving strategic plan, executing the annual giving program, and managing staff and volunteers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant degree. Graduate degree desired. Must have at least 5-7 years experience in annul giving and capital campaigns in a church or non-profit environment. Should have excellent communication skills both oral and written. Recent AFP or PGC membership and/or CFRE certification and pre-established relationships with community and national philanthropic funding sources desired.
Most important, has a loving relationship with Jesus Christ that is exemplified in the love shown for others.
