Executive Director of Ministry
Madison Square Church
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Madison Square Church is recruiting an Executive Director of Ministry, who reports to the lead pastor. This person would be part of the leadership team that shepherds a multi-cultural congregation of over 1400 people.
Our Vision: To build a community of diverse people who are being transformed by Christ.
As Christians, our worth is not determined by wealth, power, or fame. We are determined to find a stronger support to help us move beyond our fears, anxieties, and weaknesses. As we seek, day by day, to live out our faith, these aspects of life are held to higher standards. These important principles shape us as Christians and help us to live a full life, which is given to us by Christ.
Our Shared Values
Dependence on God
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to increase our dependence on God by studying His word, hearing it preached and obeying its truths, and through prayer, worship and fellowship.
Caring Community
In small groups, we create a safe place for developing relationships and encouraging one another to be responsible for our own actions and answerable to other members.
Servanthood
As Jesus' followers, we honor and serve one another as equally valuable members of His Body.
Excellence
We give our personal best, using our differing gifts in providing quality services and ministries to build God's Kingdom.
Celebration of Diversity
As God has created diversity, we embrace men, women and children of all races, ethnic groups, nationalities, gifts and experience and welcome the opportunity to learn from each one.
Commitment to Madison’s Neighborhood
We encourage, support and invest in the growth of a stable community by working toward economic and social justice and sharing God's love with our neighbors.
World Outreach
In response to the Great Commission, we send believers throughout the world to share God's love by evangelism, church planting, partnerships with other churches, and caring for the poor.
