Liberty Church, located in Shrewsbury and Worcester Massachusetts, is a multi-location Assembly of God church entrusted with the vision to “Bridge gaps, repair breaches and to reconcile people back to God.” Isaiah 58:12
In its brief thirteen-year history, the Lord has transformed a small suburban church into a thriving fellowship dedicated to “loving people to life”. Under the vision and guidance of Lead Pastor Rev. Will Bard, the congregation has grown from 12 to over 1600, four weekend services, and two campuses. Rooted initially in Shrewsbury in a 400-seat sanctuary built in 2002, Liberty rapidly grew to three services. In 2006, Liberty Church opened its second campus in downtown Worcester, just twenty minutes away, adding an 800-seat sanctuary and a fourth weekend service. The inner city campus also houses corporate offices, and a medical office building for future ministry expansion. Liberty Church has ongoing plans to expand its facilities to meet the needs of its growing congregation and outreach ministries.
Liberty Church is the first church in New England to operate in multiple locations. The Worcester church campus is also the home of the New England Dream Center, the first of its kind ministry in New England. N.E.D.C. is a rich portfolio of ministries and faith-based social services targeted at meeting the needs of those who call inner city Worcester their home. Its mission is to provide assistance and supportive services to individuals and their families, who may be displaced, neglected, or abused. Our mission is to inspire, heal, and love back to life and beyond. Services currently include Adult Day Health care, Foster Care, Life Skills counseling, and will eventually include a pharmacy, dental care, and short-term transitional residential services.
The future is extremely bright for Liberty Church and the New England Dream Center. God has continued to pour his blessings on his people and has positioned Liberty to truly make a difference in the lives of many.
