Strategic Operations Director/
Executive Ministry Director

Lake Forest Church is pleased to announcement the creation of our new Ministry Operations Director position. 

The Ministry Operations Director will report to the Lead Pastor and the Elders, and will have the following roles:

• Lead the administrative and operational functions of our church.  This includes our strategic planning and budgeting processes, human resources process and team, information technology team and resources, and campus operations.  Campus operations will include both the operations of our current facilities and the construction of new facilities.
• Serve and lead the other Ministry Directors and ministry teams.  This includes assisting Ministry Directors and teams in: professional skills/leadership development, budget development, program-level strategic planning, goal-setting, ministry organization, recruitment and training of volunteers.
• Work with the Lead Pastor and Elders to oversee the health and vitality of our leadership and our church.

Qualified candidates must possess both a high administration and relational skill set. A college degree is required with relevant graduate degrees (MBA and/or M.Div.) preferred.  Previous experience in similar work a significant plus.

Lake Forest is a growing, emerging and experimental community of Christ followers and explorers located in Huntersville, NC.  The church began 10 years ago as a church plant and has grown to a weekly attendance of 1,800.  

In January of 2009, Lake Forest will begin executing plans to plant its first daughter church, and will also begin construction on Phase II of its campus. Please see www.lakeforest.org to learn more about our church.
