Ken Sande
Ken Sande is an attorney who serves as the president of Peacemaker Ministries. He has a passion for bringing the life-changing power of God's peacemaking principles into the lives of Christians and their churches.
His early experience in engineering and law fueled his desire to dedicate his life to this purpose, resulting in his decision over twenty years ago to found what is now Peacemaker Ministries. Ken has used biblical peacemaking principles to minister to parties in hundreds of conflict situations ranging from simple personal disputes to complex church, corporate, and legal conflicts.
He has written numerous resources on conflict resolution, including The Peacemaker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Personal Conflict (Baker Books, 3d ed 2004) and Peacemaking for Families (Tyndale/Focus on the Family, 2002), and is in frequent demand as a conference speaker. Ken’s wife, Corlette, has written a biblical peacemaking curriculum for children called The Young Peacemaker.
Ken and Corlette’s favorite family activity is hiking in the mountains with their son and daughter.
