Eric is the Executive Pastor of Christ Community Church, a multi-site, 3 campus church of 5500 in the western suburbs of Chicago, where he has been on staff for almost 10 of his 22 years in ministry. In his role, Eric oversees the staff of over 100 and focuses on hiring well, staff culture and morale, staff coaching, HR compliance / guidelines, building of church-wide processes, systems and strategy, the development of the overall church vision and the relationship with the SP.
Eric has contributed articles on some these topics for Church Executive and Church Solutions magazines. Another ministry love is small group and men’s ministry which was where he spent many years in ministry prior to this XP role. He contributed to Group Publishing’s Men’s Ministry for the 21st Century. Eric also enjoys church consulting at seminars, trainings, or in 1 on 1 settings.
Eric has his Bachelor’s Degree from Judson University in Elgin, IL and a Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.
Eric’s favorite pastime is spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their three children, Luke (16), Adam (14) and Chloe (12). Eric enjoys sports of all kinds and cheering on his beloved Chicago Cubs. He resides in St. Charles, Illinois.
