Jabulani Mwale
Jabulani grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to Ireland in 1994. He joined the staff of Solid Rock Church in February 2004. He had served as an elder in the Church from 2002. Prior to this, he worked in Retail Industry in Ireland focusing on Personnel Management and Human Resource Development, a job he thoroughly enjoyed as it involved identifying potential and developing it to something that lead to life change. He worked in this Industry for 4 years.
His training was in Hotel and Catering Management and he worked with an Irish group of hotels holding various management positions from 1995.
He always knew that God had a call on his life, something that he tried to avoid until 2004. His passion is to serve the local church with a focus on Leadership Development. Jabulani started working with his church after the Lord had put a burden on his heart for his pastor, whom he felt needed someone to hold up his hands, an area he feels has not been done well in the church, particularly in Africa and Europe. His giftedness is in the area of administration. He enjoys missions work to Africa where he has travelled to on many occasions to teach leaders and develop ministries.
Jabulani serves on the board of Evangelical Alliance Ireland, something he has done since 2005. EAI is body that represents evangelicals on a national level. In his local community; he serves on the Drogheda Community Board, a group set up by the police to help bridge the gap for police and foreign nationals new to Ireland.
He is married to Primrose since 1998 and together they have 2 daughters; Chanelle (7) and Rebekah (1).
