For the past six and a half years in her role as Director of Insurance Solutions and Services, Mrs. Lively has led the growth of GuideStone Financial Resources's employee benefit division. She brings twenty-five years experience in health and welfare benefit sales and sales leadership to her role and has held sales leadership positions at Aetna, CIGNA, and Humana, as well as several years spent as an employee benefits insurance broker/consultant.
Her understanding of recent health care innovations and legislation including PPACA, Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and multiple funding options has helped GuideStone develop and offer an expanding array of medical, life, dental and disability solutions for their customers, which include Southern Baptist Convention participating organizations and other evangelical like-minded ministries. She encourages her team to develop personal solutions for each customer’s unique health and welfare needs.
Mrs. Lively has spoken at the National Association of Church Business Administrators conference, Tennessee Business Officers conference, Southern Baptist Business Officers conference, The Texas Co-Op conference, Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges conference and the GuideStone Client Forum on subjects ranging from How to Develop Financially Sound Benefit Programs to Building a Viable Wellness Program to Health Care Reform: How to Prepare.
Graduating summa cum laude, Mrs. Lively holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas. She lives with her husband in Irving, Texas and they have five grown children and four grandchildren. They are active members of Brookhaven Baptist Church in Dallas.
