Tami Fletcher, da' bossbossTami Fletcher

XPastor's Executive Assistant

e-mail Tami

Throughout their 28 years of marriage, Tami and David Fletcher have strived to minister together, following the example of Priscilla and Aquila. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Tami serves as the Executive Assistant for XPastor. She sits at her laptop and edits the monthly XP e-newsletter, takes care of registrations for the XP-Seminar and XP-Days, and compiles all 200 Seminar notebooks.

Tami also serves part time as the Executive Assistant for the American Council for the Asian Christian Academy, traveling to India with David once a year to help at the school there. She previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor of a large church … so she knows the joys, pressures and intricacies of a church office.

She does have her own ministry at Grace Covenant Church in Austin … she started a puppet ministry there and weekly writes original puppet scripts for “Jester,” her dense but caring puppet. Jester always gets confused and inserts crazy things—such as green Jell-O— into the Bible story, causing the preschoolers to call out “Jester, that’s not what the Bible says!” She does have David scratching his head, wondering if it is “theologically correct” for a puppet to pray at the close of the puppet show!

David and Tami are brand-new empty nesters this year! Their son Jason, 22, is a senior at the School of the Art Institute Chicago; their daughter Lauren, 19, is a freshman at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Yep … for almost the first time in their married life, they don’t have to plan their vacations around the school year!

In her spare time, Tami enjoys riding her bike with David. She loves to garden, eat Chinese food and send encouraging and/or fun e-mails to her family and friends.
