Throughout over thirty years of marriage, Tami and David Fletcher have strived to minister together, following the example of Priscilla and Aquila. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Tami serves as the Executive Assistant for XPastor. She sits at her laptop and edits the monthly XP e-newsletter and takes care of registrations for the XP-Seminar and XP-Days.
Tami also serves part time as the Executive Assistant for the American Council for the Asian Christian Academy, occasionally traveling to India with David to help at the school there. She has served at some capacity in church offices over the last ten years, so she knows the joys, pressures and intricacies of a church office.
Speaking of the church office, Tami helps out in the office of The Chapel in Akron, where David ministers as the XP. Tami is currently the “Fellowship One Champion Team Co-Leader” for the church, helping the staff learn and implement this useful database.
Tami and David have two grown children; Jason and his wife Erin live in Boston, Massachusetts where he is an animator at the Boston Science Museum’s planetarium. Lauren and her husband Josiah live in Austin, Texas where they own and operate a shop—The Burlap Bag—that sells quality handmade items. No grandchildren yet but both couples are getting some good practice by raising two cats each!
In her spare time, Tami enjoys riding her bike with David. She loves to garden, eat Chinese food and send encouraging and/or fun e-mails to her family and friends.
