An experienced Executive Pastor for over 20 years! Yet, for 18 years before entering ministry, first as an architect, then as a project manager Bob managed the building process. In fact, it was the thing God used to move him into the XP role when he left his career as regional VP of an international PM firm running one of their largest divisions to help his church build their multi-million dollar new campus. Now, 20 years latter, Bob is anxious to share that experience wherever God is a work expanding the Kingdom of Christ.
Bob is a guy who says he was “just at the right place at the right time” when the firm he worked for pioneered the field of project management. From 1970 to 1990 he had the incredible opportunity to run projects in the middle east, Europe, and the US that ranged from 40 to $400 million. In that role his firm became the owner rep, built the budget, assembled the building program, then hired and managed the architect, hired and managed the construction team and usually handled the move in. They built on time, on budget and on target or they wouldn't accept the profit margin built into their fee.
Bob personally managed one of the largest construction projects of its day in Abu Dhabi in the early 1970s, handled Citibank's Frankfurt headquarters, Merrill Lynch's trading floor in London, Charter and Humana Health Care projects in London, most of the newer California maximum security prisons, several of Phoenix's and Tucson's schools and many other projects.
Since then God has allowed Bob to manage three church projects, two as XP and one as a volunteer. He has also been able to consult on numerous church, community and commercial projects.
