 |
Tim serves as the Executive Pastor of Mars Hill Church and responsible for the business affairs (HR, Legal, Finance, Technology, Logistics and Campus Launching functions) of the church. Prior to joining the staff in 2007, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of CRISTA Ministries, and Executive Director of the Millionair Club Charity serving homeless men and women.
Tim served twenty-five years in the US Coast Guard and retired as a Captain (O-6). He commanded units in San Francisco and Seattle and served as the Special Assistant to the US Secretary of Transportation, among many other challenging assignments.
Tim concurrently runs a small consulting practice in Seattle called 10 Talents Consulting and is a co-founder and partner of Convergent Group, LLC. He serves as the leader of the Executive Cohort in the Resurgence Re:Train program at Mars Hill.
Tim married his high school sweetheart, Patty, in 1973 and they have two adult children (Julie and Tim) who are following the Lord. Julie is married to Casey and they have two sons, making Tim and Patty very happy grandparents. Tim graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration. He enjoys kiteboarding, sailing, tennis and traveling with his bride.
