About Thomas McElheny

Dr. Thomas McElheny is the founder and chief executive officer of ChurchPlaza (www.churchplaza.com) with 28 years as a leading national provider of quality church products and services. Forty-five national denominations, ministries and/or their publishing houses have endorsed ChurchPlaza to their churches over the years. Tom earned degrees in Business Administration and Finance from Lycoming College, and an MBA and Ed.D. degrees from Florida Atlantic University, where he later served as a faculty member. Tom also served as a Marine Corps officer for seven years and is a decorated Vietnam veteran. In addition to working in the areas of church construction, purchasing and organization for almost thirty years, he has also served as an ordained Elder, teacher and director of Christian Education. Tom and his lovely wife of forty years are the parents of four great kids and three grandchildren and reside in Sarasota, Florida.
